Well done to ….LUCY McLEAN …..our ‘HERO’ this week.

Y5′ s Fairtrade T-shirt fashion show at Deyes High School on PhotoPeach
Year 5 were invited to design T-shirts with a fair trade theme. We had great fun with our paints, materials, glue etc and showed the whole school our creations. Five lucky winners were invited to ’strike a pose’ at Deyes High School in a Fairtrade fashion show.

Y5’s success in water safety skills on PhotoPeach
Year 5 have been practising water safety skills over the last four weeks. They have learned how to save a person’s life! Congratulations to everyone!

We’ve been busy learning water safety skills from Mr Deakin on a Monday afternoon – Have you all been practising your resuscitation skills at home??? Remember…..tilt that head back!! Test next Monday. I’m sure we’ll all be great!
We are looking forward this week to making contact with our new Turkish and Portugese friends and finding out about their countries.
