Year Five Blog

Today, Y5 took part in the MADCOS (Maghull & District Community of Schools) Athletics Competition.

13 schools participated and each child had to compete in four events from a selection of running, jumping and throwing events.

I am delighted to announce, that after an action packed and fun-filled afternoon, Green Park were crowned WINNERS of the competition!

Well done to every single one of you for your contributions as it was a team effort.

Many thanks to Mrs Hall and James for helping with preparations and organising, and as always, many thanks to our army of supporters (especially Esther!!)

Once again, massive congratulations to the children. I’m very proud of you all.
