Well, what can I say?!!!

You were AMAZING!

Just in case you don’t know what I am talking about, I am referring to Y5, aka, WINNERS of the Singposium Competition at Deyes High School, last night.

Expertly led by Mrs Reed, the boys and girls sang their hearts out, performed their percussion instruments expertly, but most importantly smiled their way through the songs on the stage in front of a huge, sell-out audience!

We all know that taking part is the most important thing, but it was certainly an added bonus to find out that they had beaten 10 other schools to take the title! (I know you said we had it in the bag, Paddy!)

I’d just like to say a huge well done to all of you who came and performed. I know it was a late night, but by the looks on your faces when you heard the results, it was worth it! I was so proud of you last night.

Many thanks, as always, to all of our wonderful supporters and to Mrs Hall for her help but in particular, may I pass on my HUGE thanks to Mrs Reed for working tirelessly with the boys and girls at every possible opportunity to hone their singing voices and musical talents to perfection. It was worth it!!!
