ON WEDNESDAY , JEFF RICH, THE DRUMMER FROM STATUS QUO CAME TO GREEN PARK TO TRY AND MAKE CHILDREN LEARN AN INSTRUMENT . THE CHILDREN JOINED IN WITH JEFF IN A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES. IN THE LAST ACTIVITY EVERYONE JOINED IN TO CREATE A ROCK BAND WITH EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE SCHOOL HAVING AN INSTRUMENT. THE CHILDREN HAD A GREAT DAY!!! (By Sean Reddock)

I hope you all had a good break and are ready for your final few weeks in Year 5! (You can cry now if you want to!)
It’s a strange week this week because half of the class are practising hard for their cycling proficiency exam this Friday.
The rest of us have been busy making books for younger children and on Friday we are going to share them with children from Recption and Year 1 (if that’s ok with Miss Newham and Mr Rafferty!)
I must say it has been nice and quiet in class this week!
