Green Park kicked off and Jack McGregor ran down the wing at top speed then he sped into the box and he scored the first goal of game! Then it was a centre for Northway they kicked it back to one of there players he passed it to another player who lost possession and Green Park ran down the wing but they got tackled and there player put the ball out for acorner. Daniel took the corner but they got the ball and they were on the attack but Green Park tackled them and the ball went out for throw in. They took the throw in quickly, Northway got the ball but soon got tackled by Green Park now Green
Park were on the attack and Stuart got possession he ran into the box, had a go at goal and scored! That made it 2-0!
Northway got another centre and they passed it back to one of there players again and they dribbled the ball up the pitch but it was soon cleared by Green Park. With 15 minutes gone it was Half Time and it was 2-0 to Green Park.

We had a break at half time and then Jack Graham came on and Northway got kick off they passed it to another player and again he lost possession and Green Park got the ball and Jack McGregor went for goal from a long way off, megged there keeper and he scored a blinder. Now it was 3-0 to Green
Park. Then Jack Cunnah came on.

It was a centre for Northway and they lost the ball straight away and Jack McGregor was box and the ball was passed to him and Jack McGregor scored his hat-trick. Northway took the centre and they were running up the wing but Jack Cunnah slide tackled him and the ball was out for a throw in. Northway wasted the throw in and the ball was given to Green Park who were on the attack Green Park crossed the ball to Jack Cunnah who had an open goal and he scored! It was the sixth centre for Northway and they passed the ball to another player they were on the attack and they ran into our box and they had a fantastic opportunity but it was well saved by our fantastic keeper Steven, soon the ball was well down the pitch and Carl had the ball, he had a shot and scored! Evaluating Biscuits

Posted in Uncategorized on March 6, 2007 by year5

Our DT project this half term is all about BISCUITS!

As you know last week, we mind mapped biscuits and had fun thinking about all the different types!

Today, we have been evaluating existing biscuits before we go on to think about designing and making our own.

We evaluated biscuits using the following headings:

  • appearance
  • description
  • texture
  • flavour
  • shape

The biscuits we got to test out were:

  • Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Jammie Dodgers
  • Bourbon Creams
  • Custard Creams
  • Iced Party Rings
  • Chocolate Fingers
  • Ginger Nuts
  • Fruit Shorties
  • Milk Chocolate Digestives

The best thing was…we got to eat them too!!!!

Special People

Posted in Uncategorized on March 5, 2007 by admin

On Friday we had a class chat about role models. We did have some writing to do but our discussion took too long so we took our written work home for homework. We had to think about who influences and why. Here are some of the ideas we came back with.

Sian said her mum was special in her life because she is Kind, healthy, wears really nice clothes and is a good singer.

Emily’s mum and dad are good role models because they show her how to do things, how to behave and teach me my manners.

Abby’s mum, dad, nan, grandad and uncle are looked up to and they are older and know best.

Jack’s family feed and clothe him and his teachers educate him.

Holly’s grandad Ron makes her wear a pinny when she has spaghetti and a binbag when she does painting. (A very good idea!) He influences Holly because she loves him.

Emma’s sister Jenny, her family and friends are good role models because they take care of her.

Daniel says that his family are important because they help him to be healthy and football players like Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo so he can parctice to be like them.

Connor’s dad, mum and Kiran give him good advice, and care and always make sure he is happy.

Ellie’s mum and dad and brothers and sisters are special people because they want her to be a good person.

Chloe’s family, friends and teachers influence her because they care about me and want me to know right from wrong.

Sam’s family and friends influence him for different reasons. Mum helps him to try new foods. Dad lets him help in the garage. TV and teachers help me to learn new things and he also has his own ideas.

Thanks everyone for you ideas and work. I enjoyed reading them.
