Congratulations to this week’s winner Anna Mooney…
…for excellent mental recall of time table facts.
Well done Anna (another second time winner in Y5!)
I wonder who will be next…
Molly is catching Sian up in the comments race. Another easter egg could be on Miss Blackham’s shopping list.
Last week, Y5 finally got round to making their biscuits, after weeks of planning.
Take a look at the fantastic results!
Mmmmmmmmm!
I hope you all enjoyed eating them!
There is nobody in the whole world who has sent more comments to our website than Sian. She should get a great big Easter egg off Miss Blackham!
Yesterday, Y5 Girls Football Team played against Melling in the Semi-Final of the Y5 Cup.

It was for ‘excellent maths work.’
Well done Jack!
Today, Year 5 were presented with their Water Safety Certificates by The Mayor and Mayoress of Sefton, along with Mr Erik Deakin who delivered the training.
I would like to say a big well done to all of the children for achieving their special awards - I am very proud of all of you. Extra special thanks to Mr Deakin for all his help with delivering the course.
Year 5 have been out at Worthington Lakes Environmental Centre today.
We had a fun packed day, but learned loads too!
We did a map trail, acted out the water cycle, found out about the weather and actually recorded weather presentations as well as making key rings!
We measured how much waste we produced from our lunchboxes and were pleased to find out that we are either first or second on the leader board for the least amount of waste produced. Obviously, all we have learned about recycling, reusing and reducing has paid off!
Well done boys and girls. I’m glad you all had a fab time (and learned things too!).
Miss B
I’ll put the full album on phanfare tomorrow!
